How many hoops can you do at once? 2? 3? 4? Learn the secret to on-body multihooping from Jenny Hill!
The workshop will cover circus hooping drills to strengthen and add to your daily practice and skill up with some techniques for splitting hoops on-body. Splits sizzle and delight! This technique requires lots of practice, strengthening, and getting your body used to multiple ways of moving at the same time and building up muscle memory. If you’re frustrated by the lack of tutorials out there on how to do waist/knee spits, and other combinations of splitting hoops (2, 3 ,4, 5, & 6 splits), this is the workshop for you!
This workshop is open to those who have experience with using one or multiple hoops. However, it is helpful to have some knee, chest and waist fluency.
Also stay for the PopUp&Spin from 5-7pm at no additional cost!
Tricks Covered:
Circus hooping drills to strengthen
Techniques for splitting (2, 3, 4, 5, 6 hoops)
Various tricks for multi hoop sizzle
I’ve been wanting to share this workshop for a long time and look forward teaching what I’ve learned through others and in my own practice. Hope to see you there!

About the Studio
WHEN TO ARRIVE?
Please arrive 5 minutes before class time in order to get acquainted with the space and ready for class to begin on time.
HOW TO GET THERE?
Stay Fly Muay Thai is located at 5th and Spring Garden, sharing the same building as the Dollar General. Enter the studio through the gated area at the center of the building courtyard, which is on 5th street (behind the Dollar General).
WHAT TO WEAR?
Wear or bring shorts and whatever you are most comfortable wearing for hooping (tight fitting but comfortable and flexible, and no fabric that is too silky or slippy). No shoes on the rubber mats, so wear dance shoots or gripped socks if you don't want to be barefoot. There is a full changing room and locker room to store your things during class.
WHAT TO BRING?
Bring a water bottle and your props. If you can, bring 4-6 hoops of the same size. Extra sets will be available, but it’s best to make sure you have enough with you in the size you prefer hooping with. Fab-Creates by Krystal the Great will be selling hoops at this workshop. Contact her ahead of time to place an order for a matching set of hoops and they'll be ready when you arrive!
PARKING?
There is a large FREE parking lot located behind the Dollar General building (directly in front of the studio entrance). Enter the parking lot from 5th street or park in the Dollar General on the Spring Garden Side.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
Stay Fly is only a few blocks walking distance from the Spring Garden stop on the Market Frankfort Line.
About the instructor
Jenny Hill grew up in a theater family and in college her interests moved to art and creative writing. When she discovered she could hoop in 2008, her whole world turned around (see what she did there?) and her theatrical upbringing was revived. Jenny studied multihooping and hoop performance with the awe-inspiring Miss Saturn, and has been mentored and encouraged by many other skilled and talented hoopers along the way. All of her pursuits, whether she is teaching, creating shows, or performing, are infused with the same thing: making a real human connections.
