Hoop Tosses and Jump Throughs with RyeHoops

Learn Tosses and Jump Throughs with RyeHoops! In this single hoop workshop, students will learn various tosses and variations to go along with them and different types of jump throughs to bring new ideas to their flow. Learn to add different heights into your trick repertoire can heighten the way you flow and can help set your apart from other people, whether it be changing your own body placement or by changing where your hoop goes in the space around you. Ryan will also cover how to clean up certain tricks and give insight into how to make some moves your own with varying speeds and transitions.

We will have extra hoops to share at the workshop for anyone who doesn't have one.

About the Instructor

Ryan (@ryehoops) began his flow journey towards the end of 2014, picking up a hoop in January of 2015 and hasn't been able to put it down since. With a 15+ year background in dance, picking up the hoop was a connecting point for two of his favorite things, dance and flow arts. As a dancer he always enjoyed traveling, jumps, and leaps so learning various ways to manipulate his hoop with jumps and leaps was his favorite part of learning to hoop. He looks forward to meeting and teacher everyone!
