An Afternoon with Flofox (Two Different Classes): Fan Tech & How to be a Professional Performer

FloFox has been teaching flow arts for 3 years, and dance for over 10. He has taught at Flow Arts Institute (FIA) events (Fire Drums, Flame Festival) and other fire and flow events. His focus in teaching is fans, fire eating, how to be a professional performer, stage presence, and choreography. FloFox Co- Owns the performance company FIRE MAGICK where he is a full time performer.

CLASS 1: ABC’s of Fan Tech (2:00 - 4:00 PM)

This is a workshop that brings you into a tech mindset with fans. We will go over all the shapes you can make and enter into intermediate fan theory. This workshop is appropriate for the beginner to the advanced. Sunny days chasing the clouds away, on my way to where the tech is sweet!

CLASS 2: Get Stage Ready! How to be a Professional Performer (4:30 - 7:00 PM)

This workshop is designed to get you ready for the stage and is not specific to any one prop. We will be going over different theatrics techniques and ways to impress your audience and engage them to make them want to hire you again!

What to wear?

The studio can get hot so dress light. No shoes in the studio, so bring grip socks if you don't want to be barefoot.

Parking

Street kiosk parking or garage at LAZ Parking (garage) on the corner of 15th & Samson for $10. Buy a parking voucher from the studio upon arrival that you will redeem as payment once you go back to the garage to leave.
